Recovery GC98433 – Long-eared Owl

GC98433 was reported found dead at Ingbirchworth Reservoir, South Yorkshire grid ref SE2105, (a distance of 6km from the nest site, 612 days after it was ringed)

Found badly decomposed, the bird has I believe been sent to the Predatory Bird Monitoring Scheme.

The bird was ringed as pulli 1 of 4 ringed from a brood of 5 in South Yorkshire on 5/5/2010

This is the second recovery from that brood

GC98434 was found dead in August 2010 in the area that the birds were ringed 97 days after.
